Zastanawiam się, czy określenie "metro naziemne" jest poprawne. Słownik języka polskiego PWN definiuje "metro" jako "podziemną, elektryczną kolej miejską".
Sprawa więc dyskusyjna, zapraszam do formułowania opinia na ten temat w komentarzach.

Metro może być naziemne. Nie może być na wsi:)
Na wsi też może być - np. krańcowe stacje wielkich sieci.
W Polsce jednak za metro uznaje się kolejkę podziemną, więc wydaje mi się, że użyty przez dziennikarza zwrot "metro nadziemne w Trójmieście" nie w pełni jest poprawne, a służy raczej "podniesieniu wartości" tworzonej inwestycji, co natomiast można uznać za nierzetelność.
Dla przykładu londyński Underground w wielu miejscach wyjeżdża na powierzchnię.
Dalszy ciąg definicji z Wikipedii brzmi: "Granica między metrem a innymi środkami transportu zbiorowego, do których zaliczyć możemy szybki tramwaj i szybką kolej miejską, nie jest zawsze wyraźnie określona." :)
